If you think processed food is bad for you, you’re kidding yourself. It’s way worse than bad.
For anyone dealing with cognitive decline, eating processed food is the single most damaging thing you can do to your brain — in terms of dietary habits, anyway.
That’s according to Dr. Lisa Mosconi of the Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic in New York. She says her “No. 1 brain tip” is to get processed food out of your diet.
Doing that, along with other changes in eating habits and regular exercise, can lead to quick, dramatic improvement in cognition, even for people with dementia, Mosconi says in today’s video.
